Hello! Thanks for visiting my workshop's virtual portfolio.
My name is Valeria Haedo, I am an Argentine architect and visual artist based in Queens, NY. For years, I have created unique and colorful sets for music videos, festivals, and art installations. During my years in Architecture school, I worked as a researcher of architectural patrimony and as a professor in History, Design, Theory & Investigation.
For the last 10 years of my life, I've been offering workshops and private lessons for students of all ages at my studio. I am a crafts instructor for seniors at BronxWorks and I have been working in public schools with students of all levels as a teaching artist, I am also an Adjunct Lecturer of New Media Art at LaGuardia CC in LIC.

I like finding ways to upcycle material and collaborating with my students to help them explore new skills. I am experienced in many different techniques which I can share with the students according to what the program requires. I specialized in the Tiffany technique, using copper foil, cutting glass, and soldering. I am also fluent in English/Spanish and I offer my services in both languages.
